October 12-18th is Teen Read Week! To celebrate, the library will be holding a teen book swap, on Tuesday, October 14th at 6 PM. Teens can bring unwanted new and gently used books and trade them for something else! Also, we will be screening Read or Die: The TV show.
Anime Night resumes as scheduled next month, November 11th.
Hollywood Mondays are every Monday from 3:30 – 5:00 for ages 10 thru 18 in Community Room #1. A different G or PG-13 movie is shown every week.
Tween Game night is every Thursday from 3:30 – 5:30 for ages 9 thru 12 in Community Room #2.
Teen Game night is every Thursday from 6:00 – 8:00 for ages 13 thru 18 in Community Room #2.
Game Night consists of video games in the following platforms: Playstation 2, Playstation 3, X-BOX 360, Wii, and Nintendo Game Cube. Some of the popular games being played now are Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Super Smash Brothers: Brawl. Teens and Tweens can bring in games to play for these systems.
